This is the third of a series of photos I'm posting from our trip through Shenandoah National Park. A wonderful trip! If you live in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland or Washington, D.C., this makes for a fab day or weekend trip.
We started off in Front Royal at mile marker 1 and drove to mile marker 62 where we exited Skyline Drive on Route 33. These are some of the sky views we saw along the way.
Welcome! Please join me as I share various photos from places I've been and things I've seen. Thanks for stopping by!

Road trips: Gazing upon Pennsylvania clouds
We recently spent a weekend in Pennsylvania's lovely Poconos. Despite the fact it was rainy and cold for most of our time there, it was a nice weekend. It was 42 - 47 degrees driving home until we reached the southern part of the state, but the views, blue skies and clouds made it appear as if it was really the mid-May day it was.

In photos: Blue and cloudy skies
Earlier this week I took an evening walk and we had such a pretty sky. I was glad I grabbed my camera on the way out (was hoping to spot some critters). Not so much luck on the critters, but I really liked the way the sun and the clouds in the sky looked. These were taken about an hour to 90 minutes before sunset.
