Views of the St. Louis Arch (2005)

It's been a while since the last time I visited the wonderful city of St. Louis. For about a year's time in 2005 I was a frequent visitor to the city and had some time to explore. Today's post shows various views of the St. Louis Arch. The first one was taken in January 2005, the following two in April of the same year.

We took a boat ride down the Mississippi River in April 2005 and this was one of the views looking back as we headed up (or down?) the river.

  1. Your photos are outstanding. I've never taken a river boat ride, but have been over all the bridges from St. Louis across the Mississippi River, including the new 'Stan Span' (Stan Musial Veterans Memorial Bridge) which opened in 2014.

    1. I've never been on many of the bridges except the one I drove over from Illinois (do not remember the name). I did not realize there is a new bridge, will have to check it out online, thanks.

I saw a lot during the year I was frequently in town, but feel there was so much more to see!! Thank you Wednesday Elf for your kind comment and for visiting my blog.
